Money and the pursuit of happiness

Do you go to less baseball games because of the cost? It’s really crazy. For a family of four to go to a game at Wrigley Field with parking and food, it costs $298.20. Yet people still pack into Wrigley every year.

I believe a large part of our population loves to spend money for the sake of spending money.

Talking with my brother about this, he agreed with me and sadly said about the psyche of the general American public,

In the name of entertainment, because that’s what life is about: making yourself happy, the pursuit of happiness. They really should take “In God we trust” off our money and replace it with “the pursuit of happiness.” Not only does it reflect our culture more accurately, but it’s on the money. Money and the pursuit of happiness.
